Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi
The Central Board of Secondary Education is an eminent board of school education in India. An autonomous body under the aegis of the Ministry of HRD, it is the second oldest Board of the country, with more than 8300 schools. The board conducts annual examinations at the end of Grade X and XII.
Subjects that Star Academy School offers in CBSE are: English Core, Mathematics, Computer Science, Social Science, Science and Technology, Environmental Education,Hindi and Sanskrit at Secondary level.
The curriculum is as per the NCERT in most of the subjects with compliance to CBSE guidelines. English is the medium of instruction. Hindi and Sanskrit are the other languages the students learn. A wide range of sports and games as well as myriad co curricular activities like debates, declamation, drawing and painting are taken up by the School.
