Star Academy School (SAS) provides career guidance and advise in a personalised manner to the students from grade VIII onwards. The School advising and counselling team attempts to marry the interest, potential and goals of the students with the understanding of the opportunities available in future.

The School has a special focus on preparation of competitive examinations and tests:

Class IX - X:

For the IX – X focusses on preparation for various competitive exams like NTSE & Olympiads. Special attention is also paid for preparing for board exams. The programs are delivered through classroom or online learning formats or Video Conferencing or Webinars.

Future Map

In Grade VIII, all students undergo Future Map: a series of scientific tests. Future Map tests a child’s Aptitude, Personality and Interest and then recommends careers that they are best suited for. After discussions with both students and parents, we help the child make a suitable career choice.

CDC – Career Development Center
At Star Academy School, we consider aptitude building as a part of the curriculum. Career Development Center focuses on the following:

  • Language: Verbal and written skills of English.
  • Qualitative Skills: Reasoning and Comprehension skills.
  • Quantitative Reasoning: Key Math Skills like calculation and mathematical thinking.

Benefits: The above helps in competitive examinations and standardized tests and encourages Problem Solving Ability (PSA), which has been the special focus of various examination and testing bodies.
